Michigan Cyber Safety Initiative - Community Seminar
During the months of April and May, many of our students will be participating in a Michigan Cyber Safety Initiative assembly presented by the Michigan Attorney General's Office.  On April 28, 2014, a community seminar for parents and members of the community will be held beginning at 6:30PM at the Howard Pepper Auditorium located at Grand Blanc High School.  The Community Seminar presentation provides practical tools including Internet Safety Tips and how to: 1) access the Michigan Sex Offender Registry; 2) understand the impact of digital footprints; 3) appreciate the risk of sharing photos with embedded location information; 4) recognize the potential dangers and legal ramification of sexting; and 5) identify cyberbullying warning signs and develop a plan of action if needed.  For an event flyer please click HERE.

Grand Blanc High School Announcements
Changes to the End of the Year
Due to the extension of the 2013-14 school year, Grand Blanc High School has made the following modifications to the June school calendar:

 

Tuesday                     June 10                       FULL day of school

Wednesday                June 11                       FULL day of school

Thursday                   June 12                       ½ day of school (1st and 2nd hour final exams)

Friday                         June 13                       ½ day of school (3rd and 4th hour final exams)

Monday                      June 16                       ½ day of school (5th and 6th hour final exams)

 

This change is only for 9th, 10th and 11th grade students. The schedule for seniors has NOT changed.

Scrip is available at the High School!
You may purchase Scrip cards at the High School. To download the order form,click here. Order forms and payment should be turned into the East HS Main Office by 9:00 a.m. Monday. Cards will be available for pickup in the Main Office on Friday after 2:30 p.m.

As you do your holiday shopping, we ask that you think about ordering your gift cards through the High School Scrip program. All profits go to PABC.
